Sanjay Singh issued a statement saying that since yesterday the party has been continuously raising the question that there have been irregularities in the donation box and offerings of Ram Mandir. BJP leaders and their supporters were trying to call these allegations false, but now it has become clear from the information coming out that arrests have been made in the case of theft in offerings and the investigating agencies have also had to take action.

He said that when the facts have come before the country, then the people responsible of BJP and the Trust should answer. Crores of Ram devotees offer their hard-earned money at the feet of Lord Shri Ram with reverence. It is the responsibility of the Trust to ensure the security and transparency of that money.

Sanjay Singh said that the BJP government was engaged in selling the country’s properties, sold railways, sold airports, sold ports, sold government institutions, but now if allegations of theft are coming to the fore even in the offerings to Lord Shri Ram, then it is a direct attack on the faith of crores of devotees. The country wants to know how all this happened and who is responsible for it.”

He said that BJP asks for votes in the name of Ram, does politics in the name of Ram, but when questions are raised on the offerings of Ram devotees, it avoids answering. This silence further increases the suspicion. Sanjay Singh challenged Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and said that if there has been no theft in the offerings, then Champat Rai should swear by placing his hand on the idol of Lord Shri Ram that there has been no theft in the offerings. Crores of Ram devotees will believe his oath.”

Sanjay Singh said that Aam Aadmi Party will continue to raise this issue to protect the faith of the devotees and the sanctity of their offerings and will continue to demand strict action against the culprits.
