Agra ‘Bathroom Murder’ Revealed: Husband’s body was buried under the floor for 45 days, police shocked!

Agra: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The body of a man who was missing for about 45 days was recovered by the police by breaking the floor of the bathroom of the house. The police have taken the deceased’s wife into custody and the investigation is ongoing. Investigation is being done to find out who else was involved in this murder.

Surendra Sharma was missing since May 18   

The matter is of Renuka Dham Colony of Sikandra police station area. 44 year old Surendra Kumar Sharma, who lives here, was missing since May 18. Wife Ruby kept telling the family and relatives that Surendra had gone somewhere and would return soon. His missing report was lodged on 26 May.

The investigation into the old case exposed   

According to the police, many things were not matching in the investigation. On Friday, the police reached the house again to verify an old case. During this time Ruby’s behavior seemed suspicious. The deceased’s brother Anil Sharma also gave some important information to the police. After this the police searched the house thoroughly.

Suspicious after seeing fresh plaster   

During the search, the police noticed the new floor of the bathroom. The suspicion deepened after seeing fresh plaster. When the floor was excavated, Surendra’s body was found from below. As soon as the news spread, there was a sensation in the area and a crowd gathered.

Tiles were installed after burying the dead body  

Initial investigation revealed that the body was buried in the bathroom after the murder. Soil was poured on top and plastered and new tiles were installed, so that no one could get suspicious. Police are now finding out who else helped in this conspiracy apart from the wife.

Wife confessed to the crime   

During interrogation, the accused wife Ruby confessed to the murder. He told that even before the incident, he had made preparations to call a mechanic to get the bathroom work done. However, the police say that the real reason for the murder will be confirmed only after investigation and evidence.

There used to be fights over alcohol.   

Deceased’s brother Anil Sharma told that Surendra was addicted to alcohol. There was often dispute between husband and wife on this issue. After Surendra’s disappearance, it was Ruby who called the family and later filed a missing complaint. The family continued searching, but could not find any clue.

Forensic investigation started  

Police have sent the body for post-mortem. The forensic team has collected evidence from the spot. ACP Hari Parvat Ameesha Patel said that the wife is being interrogated. It is also being investigated whether anyone else was involved in the murder or not. Further action will be taken after receiving all the evidence.
