UP Agriculture: Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the fourth edition of the International Trade Show will be held in Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September. Its preparations have been completed. On one hand, the representatives from India and abroad will see the rich heritage of UP and on the other hand they will also see the Agri ‘culture’.
During the trade show, 20 FPOs, Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation, 40 firms related to agricultural investments, International Rice Research Institute, South Asia Regional Center Varanasi etc. will also participate. Manufacturers of agricultural products, equipment, seeds and chemicals will get a platform and the visitors will also be introduced to the advanced agricultural culture and technology of Uttar Pradesh. Here, progressive farmers and companies of the state will get an international platform.
The entire Uttar Pradesh will be represented at one place. One thousand square meters has been allotted to the Agriculture Department for the International Trade Show-2026. Agriculture, agricultural education, agriculture related institutions, Mandi Parishad-Directorate of Agricultural Marketing, agricultural equipment, fertilizer, seed and plant protection chemical manufacturing companies will also participate in it.
More than 20 FPOs will participate with the coordination of Agriculture Department.
The Agriculture Department also has a big stake in organizing international trade shows. With the communication and coordination of the Agriculture Department, more than 20 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) will participate in it. Various districts including Aligarh, Sitapur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Mirzapur, Hardoi, Bulandshahr, Pratapgarh, Aligarh, Bahraich, Etawah, Ghaziabad, Amroha, Kanpur, Saharanpur, Gonda will participate in this.
Companies related to seeds, fertilizers and agricultural equipment will also participate in the exhibition organized by the Agriculture Department. There will be a total of 61 stalls including 20 stalls of FPOs, 40 stalls of agricultural inputs (seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, equipment) etc. and one government stall.
Joint Agriculture Director (Bureau/Planning) AK Singh made nodal officer
Nodal officers have also been nominated by the Agriculture Department for communication, coordination and supervision. Joint Director (Bureau/Planning) AK Singh will be the nodal officer for the entire arrangement. Additional Agriculture Director (Seeds and Fields) YP Singh has been nominated as nodal officer for communication with seed producing companies and Joint Agriculture Director (Fertilizers) Harendra Kumar Mishra has been nominated as nodal officer to oversee the fertilizer companies.
While Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Mishra, Additional Agriculture Director (Agriculture Defense) has been given the responsibility of nodal officer for agricultural defense chemicals, Balram Verma, Joint Agriculture Director (Engineering) has been given the responsibility of nodal officer for companies manufacturing agricultural equipment and drones.
