Air India Express has canceled some flights on this route for seven consecutive days. Two flights on Delhi-Patna route canceled
Air India Express has informed about the cancellation of two flights operating on the Delhi-Patna route from September 24 to September 30. These include IX1346 and IX1348. The airline has informed Patna Airport Authorities in this regard.
At present, the airline has given only operational reasons for the cancellation of these flights. However, detailed information has not been given as to what kind of operational problem the flights have been cancelled.
What should passengers do?
If your ticket is for any of the flights IX1346 or IX1348 and your travel date is between 24th to 30th September, then do check the flight status once before going to the airport. This can help in avoiding last minute problems.
At present, no detailed information has been shared by Patna Airport regarding alternative flights, rescheduling or refund for the passengers of canceled flights. In such a situation, passengers have been advised to contact Air India Express for information related to their booking.
IX1348 has already been canceled
Let us tell you that this is not the first case of flight cancellation on Delhi-Patna route in recent times. Earlier, Air India Express had told Patna Airport Authorities that flight IX1348 would also be canceled on September 21 and 22 due to operational reasons.
This flight was scheduled to leave from Patna for Delhi at 7:15 am on both days. Now information about cancellation of two flights on the same route from 24th to 30th September has come to light.
Therefore, if you are traveling on the Delhi-Patna route during these dates, then please confirm the latest status of the flight from the airline before leaving for the airport.
