Apple has expanded its AirPods lineup in India with the launch of the new AirPods 5, alongside the AirPods Pro 3. The new AirPods 5 bring Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to Apple’s open-ear design, while the Pro 3 offer more advanced noise cancellation, heart-rate sensing and other premium features.

The AirPods 5 start at ₹14,900 in India. The AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case are priced at ₹17,900. Both models are available for pre-order, with sales beginning September 18.

AirPods 5: Key features
The AirPods 5 feature an open-ear design with Active Noise Cancellation, making ANC available even without silicone ear tips. Apple says the new model offers up to 1.5x more ANC than the previous generation.

The AirPods Pro 3, priced at ₹25,900, are positioned as Apple’s premium wireless earbuds. They feature significantly stronger in-ear Active Noise Cancellation, with Apple claiming up to four times more ANC than the original AirPods Pro and AirPods 4 with ANC.
The biggest upgrades include heart-rate sensing during workouts, Hearing Test and Loud Sound Reduction features, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode and Personalised Spatial Audio.
AirPods Pro 3 also support Live Translation, Siri interactions and up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC on. Their MagSafe USB-C charging case works with Apple Watch and Qi-certified chargers and includes a speaker for Find My.
