In fact, the European T20 Premier League has recently been approved by the ICC. This T20 league will be jointly organized by the cricket boards of Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands. The first season of the tournament will be played between six teams from August 26 to September 20. These matches will be held in The Hague and Dublin. In this upcoming T20 series, Rahane will be part of the Amsterdam Flames, captained by Australia’s star all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.

Many prominent names from Indian cricket are associated with the inaugural season of the European T20 Premier League. Former Team India head coach Rahul Dravid is co-owner of Dublin Guardians, while Ravichandran Ashwin has been named captain of the same team. Star Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will lead the Belfast Wolves. Meanwhile, New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner will captain the Edinburgh Castle Rockers.

Veteran Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane recently announced his retirement from international cricket on July 30. He played 85 Tests, 90 ODIs, and 20 T20 Internationals for India, scoring a total of 8,414 runs. During this period, he scored 15 centuries and 51 half-centuries.
