Tezzbuzz Desk- Akash Anand's father-in-law Ashok Siddharth has announced his retirement from politics in front of BSP supremo Mayawati. He wrote a letter to Mayawati on Wednesday informing her about his decision. This announcement came within about 24 hours of Mayawati's condition in which she had said that giving responsibility to Akash Anand in the party would be considered again only after Ashok Siddharth completely separates from politics.
Ashok Siddhartha shared a long post on social media platform X saying that he is retiring from political and social life. However, he clarified that his decision should not be linked to Akash Anand's return to BSP.
'Sister's orders are supreme'
Ashok Siddharth expressed respect towards Mayawati in his post and said that for him sister's orders are bigger than everything in the world. He claimed that for the last 35 years he has been dedicated to the mission of BSP, Honorable Kanshi Ram and Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
He said that whatever responsibility the party gave him, he performed it with full dedication. Ashok Siddharth described Mayawati as his political guru and elder sister and said that it was because of her that he reached the Legislative Council and Rajya Sabha.
Appeal not to link with Akash's return
Ashok Siddharth said that some people have been accusing him of capturing the party and misleading Akash Anand, but there is no truth in this. He called it a conspiracy by his political opponents.
He appealed to Mayawati not to link his retirement with the return of Akash Anand. He said that whether or not to give responsibility to Akash in the party is entirely Mayawati's decision.
