‘Akhilesh has divorced me, that’s why he gets angry the moment he sees me!’: OP Rajbhar’s strong attack on SP
The war of words has reached a new level in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi government’s cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar fiercely targeted the Samajwadi Party and its chief Akhilesh Yadav in a public dialogue program organized in Ballia. Rajbhar, in his usual style, took a political dig and said, “Akhilesh Yadav has divorced me, that is why whenever he encounters me, he gets angry.”
Bad days for SP in 2027! Rajbhar did not stop here, he termed SP and Congress as ‘fired cartridges’. He predicted that Samajwadi Party’s performance in the 2027 assembly elections would be very poor. Rajbhar said, “SP had won 47 seats in 2017, but for them winning 27 seats in 2027 will be no less than a big achievement.” Other state ministers Dayashankar Singh and Danish Azad Ansari were also present with him on the stage.
The joke of heritage vs intelligence Attacking SP, Minister Rajbhar said that one can get inheritance in politics, but not intelligence. He alleged that many SP leaders oppose BJP during the day for show, but secretly meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the dark of night. However, he did not provide any concrete evidence for this claim. Comparing himself with the mythological character ‘Bali’, Rajbhar said that his opponents get 100 degree fever after seeing him. He also reiterated the demand for strict action against the culprits on the Ram temple donation controversy.
Called SP workers as ‘goons’ Before the program started in Ballia, SP workers showed black flags to Rajbhar and protested. Angered by this, Rajbhar tagged Akhilesh Yadav on social media and said, “Are you watching the actions of your goons? They have come out on the streets against me because I am speaking the truth and you are not able to digest this truth.” Challenging the SP, he said, “We are not afraid of Murdabad slogans and black clothes. If you have the strength, then show it by fighting in the election field in a democratic manner. The saffron will still wave.”
