Delhi Police has not given permission to Cockroach Janata Party to protest at Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar Gupta. The police had cited security reasons and procedural requirements behind this. At the same time, in view of the fear of gathering of protesters in large numbers, dozens of trains going to Delhi from different states have been cancelled. Apart from this, police checking is going on in the cities and roads adjacent to the national capital. The police are detaining the people who are going to participate in this demonstration. On which SP chief Akhilesh Yadav reacted on Saturday.
Akhilesh said on the social media platform
no one can stop me
Now the country will gather in Delhi! We are with the youth energy of the country. If the BJP government is thinking that it can control the people with the help of force, then this will prove to be an even bigger mistake. 'Jantar-Mantar' is no longer the name of a place, but has become a symbol of a new consciousness and awakening. If the government stops the agitators then Jantar Mantar will be built everywhere in the country.
