Akhilesh Yadav on Mamata Banerjee: Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has attacked BJP. During a press conference in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav fiercely attacked the government on the issue of inflation. Calling BJP a liar, he said that BJP makes goldpapadi of lies. He said that BJP adds one layer of lie after another.

Regarding Bengal elections, Akhilesh Yadav said that if theft can happen in smart meters then why not in EVMs. Along with this, Sarpi supremo claimed that only Mamata Banerjee’s government is going to be formed in Bengal.

Questions raised on Election Commission

Regarding the Election Commission, Akhilesh Yadav said that the Election Commission is a constitutional body and we believe that it will work impartially and will not discriminate against anyone. He said that we all believe that the Election Commission will work impartially to strengthen democracy, but when elections were held in Rampur in UP, we saw how officials were being deployed. Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP had done a rehearsal in collaboration with the Election Commission in UP and launched the same in Bengal.

Akhilesh Yadav further said that a parallel system of paramilitary and central forces was created in West Bengal. The SP chief said that this is the public’s election. He said that there was a Didi in Bengal and there will always be a Didi. Akhilesh Yadav said that she is alone, she will fight and also win.

If there can be dishonesty in smart meter then why not in EVM?

Akhilesh Yadav also said that if there can be dishonesty in smart meter then why can’t it happen in EVM? He said that BJP wants to scare people. Yesterday an alert came on everyone’s mobile, alert will come even on switched off mobiles. This is technology. He said that now think that when an alert can come from a switched off mobile, then how can one trust?
