While posting on social media, Akhilesh Yadav said that unless an FIR is registered in the case, the SIT investigation cannot be considered effective.
He sarcastically said that without legal action, the SIT formed will remain a mere formality. According to him, if new revelations are coming to light every day, then it seems to be an attempt to suppress or divide the matter more than investigation.
Government cornered over claim of ‘Kagbhusundi’ missing

In his statement, Akhilesh Yadav said in a sarcastic manner that in view of the way new revelations are being made every day, strict vigil should be kept on Nepal and other borders so that if there is any accused, he cannot escape.
However, he made this comment as a political satire.
Case of asking for receipt of 200 kg silver
A new twist came in the Ram temple donation controversy when Castle Group of Companies Managing Director of Dr. Raju V. Manwani claimed that he weighed one kilo each for the construction of Ram temple 200 silver bricks Had donated.
He said that at the time of donating, he was not given any official receipt for it. Now that reports of alleged irregularities in donations and offerings are coming to light, they are worried as to where the silver donated by them is used.
Dr. Manwani said that he has asked for receipt of donation and complete details of its usage from the concerned parties.

The opposition is continuously cornering the government over the Ram temple offering controversy. Samajwadi Party is calling it a serious matter related to faith and is demanding impartial investigation and transparency.
On the other hand, the government has already constituted a special investigation team to investigate the matter.
SIT was formed on June 13
On June 13, the Uttar Pradesh government had formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case.
