Alert of heavy rain in 5 districts of Bihar, Meteorological Department issued a big warning

Patna. Monsoon seems to be active once again in Bihar. The weather has become pleasant due to continuous movement of clouds and intermittent rains in many parts of the state. While people suffering from the humid heat for the last few days have got relief, the Meteorological Department has advised to remain alert in many districts for the coming days.

Heavy rain warning for these 5 districts

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj, Supaul and West Champaran. There may be heavy rain with thunder in these districts. An appeal has been made to the administration and local people to keep an eye on the changing weather conditions.

There is also a possibility of strong wind and lightning

Strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour may occur along with rain in most areas of North Bihar. Apart from this, the possibility of thunder and lightning has also been expressed at many places. In such a situation, it has been advised to avoid standing in open fields, under trees or around electric poles. Light to moderate rain may continue in other districts also.

Clouds will rain in many cities including Patna

The weather patterns will also change in the capital Patna and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of good rain with thunder in the next few days. The Meteorological Department estimates that rainfall activities may intensify in many parts of the state on July 27 and 28, which is expected to bring relief from drop in temperature and humidity.

Monsoon has been active since last one week

It has been raining intermittently in various districts of Bihar for the past several days. Due to continuous cloudy sky, a decrease in day temperature has been recorded. Due to rain at many places, moisture in the fields has increased, due to which Kharif crops are also expected to get benefits. However, the local administration will need to remain alert if waterlogging occurs in low-lying areas.
