Ali Gul Pir welcomes baby boy, celebrates first Father’s Day

Comedian Ali Gul Pir has stepped into fatherhood for the first time, announcing the birth of his son on Sunday in a heartfelt social media post that coincided with Father’s Day celebrations worldwide.

Gul Pir shared the news on Instagram, revealing that he and his wife, Dr Azeemah Nakhoda, have welcomed a baby boy named Salar. The timing made the occasion even more special, as he marked his first Father’s Day as a new dad.

He posted pictures featuring the newborn along with his wife, giving followers a glimpse of the family’s joyful moment. The comedian also shared a video showing Father’s Day gifts presented to him by his wife to celebrate the milestone.

In his emotional message, Gul Pir said the first time he held his son, he wished to give him endless happiness and protect him from every form of pain. However, he added that he later realized life would include both joy and hardship, and that challenges would also shape his son’s journey.

He wrote that despite this, his support for his child would remain constant. He pledged unconditional love and lifelong care, ending his note with a Father’s Day message dedicated to himself.

In a separate gesture, Karachi-based mithai brand S Abdul Wahid also joined the celebration by sharing a themed reel showcasing specially prepared gift boxes for the newborn’s announcement. The blue, bassinet-style boxes were later reshared by Gul Pir on his Instagram story.

The announcement quickly drew attention online as fans and well-wishers congratulated the comedian on entering a new chapter of life.
