It’s a wrap for September, and just like that, 2026 is about to end in four months. The final week of September brings a mix of films, web series and reality shows to major OTT platforms, with new titles spanning mystery, crime, courtroom drama, romance, horror and reality television. Several original crime thrillers, romantic films and web series have dropped on OTT this week.
Parineeti Chopra’s Shaque: Trust No One, Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups and Aneet Padda’s Hunkkaar: The Roar are among the titles set to stream this week.

Shaque: Trust No One — Netflix, September 24
Parineeti Chopra makes her OTT series debut with this mystery drama. She plays a mother whose newborn daughter disappeared nine years ago. When photographs emerge suggesting that her daughter may still be alive, she begins investigating what happened. Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Soni Razdan and Sumeet Vyas also star in the series.
Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups — ZEE5, September 25
Yash stars in dual roles as Raya and Rumi in Geetu Mohandas’ gangster drama. Set in post-independence Goa, the film revolves around crime, ambition and family conflicts surrounding the rise of a criminal empire. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are also part of the cast.
Hunkkaar: The Roar — JioHotstar, September 25
Aneet Padda plays 17-year-old Meenu Rawat in this socio-courtroom thriller. The story centres on her accusation against a popular godman and its impact on a community shaped by faith and fear. Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Arjun Mathur, Raghubir Yadav and Ram Kapoor also feature in the series.
Don’t Be Shy — Prime Video, September 25
Produced by Eternal Sunshine Productions, this coming-of-age romantic comedy follows Shyamili “Shy” Das, played by Aarushi Bajaj. Her carefully structured life takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself caught between Mayank and her estranged childhood friend Dhruv.
The Love Hypothesis — Prime Video, September 23
Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman star in this romantic comedy about a PhD student who enters a fake relationship with an intimidating professor. What begins as a plan to convince a friend that she has moved on soon becomes more complicated as their relationship develops.
