What is the whole controversy?

Actually, this whole controversy started from Pranit More’s show. A video of his show went viral on social media. In which Dr. Sejal Pawar was seen making fun of the private parts of the dead body. After the video surfaced, many people associated with the medical profession had raised objections to it. He said that medical students should have respect for the dead bodies through which they get to learn about the human body. In such a situation, making such objectionable jokes on a public platform is against the dignity of the medical profession.

Now All India Medical Students Association has taken official action regarding this controversy. He has written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Medical Education Department of Maharashtra demanding strict action against Sejal Pawar.

The Student Association wrote in its letter that dead bodies have great importance in medical studies. Medical students consider him as their first teacher because they get the initial education about the human body through him. In such a situation, making derogatory or funny comments about them hurts the sentiments of the entire medical fraternity. The association said that having a sense of respect and gratitude towards a dead body is part of the basic ethics of the medical profession.

College administration has taken action against Sejal

Let us tell you that before this, KEM Hospital and Medical College of Mumbai has taken action against Sejal Pawar. The college administration has imposed a ban of 15 years on Sejal after her confirmation in the viral video. This means that she cannot participate in any college activity during this time. Apart from this, the college administration has also recommended forming a five-member committee, which will investigate this viral video in depth, after which the final decision will be taken against him.

Sejal had apologized by releasing the video

The college administration had told that during the investigation against Sejal, she became emotional. He expressed regret over his words. It was told that the controversy had an impact on his mental health and hence he was advised to seek professional counselling. Earlier, Sejal had publicly apologized in this matter by releasing a video on social media. He had said that he did not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments. However, despite the apology, the controversy has not stopped and now medical organizations have also taken this issue seriously, in such a situation strict action can be taken against them.
