Allegation of conversion through Indian Prayer Church
Bajrang Dal district chief Rana Mukherjee alleged that people were being induced to convert by luring them. He has also claimed that such activities are being conducted through Indian Prayer Church in Manikpur area. However, these allegations have not been independently confirmed. Merely holding a prayer meeting does not prove illegal conversion.
The matter of staying without identity card is also under investigation.
Information about scuffle with some people during the dispute has also come to light. Videos related to the incident are reported to be circulating on social media. Apart from this, allegations have also been made that some people were staying in the hotel without identity cards.
