Alok Nath:Senior actor Alok Nath, who was once famous for the image of ‘Sanskari Babuji’ in Bollywood, has been almost missing from the big screen and public events for the last several years. In 2018, after the allegations against him during the MeToo movement, he distanced himself from the limelight. Now his childhood friend and actor Rajesh Puri has shared many important things about Alok Nath’s current life.

‘Alok Nath changed completely after MeToo’
In a recent interview, Rajesh Puri told that after the MeToo controversy, Alok Nath almost completely distanced himself from the film industry. According to him, after the allegations came to light, the actor was mentally affected and he isolated himself from people.

Rajesh said that Alok Nath now stays at home most of the time and rarely goes out. While earlier he was an active part of the film world, now he has almost distanced himself from public life.

‘Now I have given up alcohol too’
Rajesh Puri also told in the conversation that there has been a lot of change in Alok Nath’s nature as compared to earlier. According to him, the actor no longer consumes alcohol and is living a much calmer life than before.

He said that Alok is a very good person at heart, but the first two things affected him the most – one, feeling deeply bad about something and second, alcohol. Rajesh claims that after drinking alcohol, his behavior became very aggressive, which also affected his life.

They are also rejecting acting offers.
According to Rajesh Puri, he invited Alok Nath to visit his house and farmhouse several times, but every time he refused to meet. However, both of them do talk on the phone sometimes.

He told that Alok Nath no longer accepts new acting offers. He believes that today a talented artist is unable to utilize his potential by staying away from the industry. According to Rajesh, the actor is still deeply hurt by those incidents and perhaps that is why he has kept himself away from work.

Steps towards spirituality
Rajesh also told that in the last few years, Alok Nath has been attracted towards spirituality. Both follow the same guru and Alok is also under his guidance.

However, he also said that despite being invited to attend spiritual programs and satsang, Alok Nath often avoids coming. According to him, the actor still shys away from facing people and prefers to live a quiet, private life.

Life changed after 2018
During the MeToo campaign in 2018, many women had made serious allegations against Alok Nath. After these allegations, both his public image and film career were greatly affected. Since then the actor has been seen in public on very few occasions.
