Amazon explores ‘Apprentice’ reboot with Donald Trump Jr. leading project
Amazon is reportedly exploring a revival of The Apprenticethe business competition series once hosted by Donald Trump, for its Prime Video platform, as per a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The publication further noted that leadership at the helm would not be the President himself, but his son, Donald Trump Jr.
The idea is still taking shape, with no active development in motion and the Trump family still haven’t been approached about the concept.
Sources close to the matter told The Wall Street Journal that Amazon executives have internally floated Donald Trump Jr. as a potential host for the reboot.

“Since our acquisition of MGM, we have had preliminary internal discussions about what’s next for The Apprentice as a property. The show is not in active development, and any reporting on details of the show or names of potential hosts would be purely speculative,” Amazon spokesperson shared with multiple outlets.
An insider told Variety that no conversations have taken place with any external parties regarding a reboot of “The Apprentice.”
