Washington. America has made a big announcement regarding Iran's nuclear program. The US Government has announced a reward of up to $ 20 million (about Rs 180 crore) for those providing important information related to Iran's nuclear bases, equipment and scientists. Not only this, the person giving information will also be given the option to settle at a safe place. The Central Command of the US Army shared this information on social media platform X on Friday.
This reward will be given under the 'Rewards for Justice' program of the US State Department. Through this, efforts are being made to collect such information related to Iran's nuclear program, which may be important for American security agencies. Under the program, eligible informants can get a maximum reward of $20 million and the facility of relocation.
Trump again claimed to destroy Iran's nuclear sites
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that America has destroyed Iran's nuclear bases. In Florida on Friday night, he said that if America had not attacked Iran, Israel's existence could have been in danger today.
Trump said, 'If they had nuclear weapons, they would have used them and destroyed the entire Middle East.' He also claimed that Iran is now eager to make a deal with the US. According to Trump, talks are ongoing between the two sides and Iran appears ready for an agreement.
Agreement on nuclear program is stuck
The biggest reason for the ongoing conflict between America and Iran is Iran's nuclear program. The US has consistently accused Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons, while Tehran sees its nuclear program as linked to its security and national interests.
There has been a pause in the attacks between the two countries for some time, but till now no permanent agreement has been agreed upon. US President Trump has been demanding an end to Iran's nuclear program, while Iran wants to negotiate on its own terms.
Iran placed seven conditions
Meanwhile, diplomatic activities have also intensified. According to The New York Times report, Iran is considering some concrete proposals related to its nuclear program. However, Iran has set seven conditions to take the talks forward.
These include compensation for war damages, freeing up seized Iranian assets, lifting economic sanctions, ending the US naval blockade and withdrawal of US troops from the region. Apart from this, its demands also include a permanent end to the conflict involving Iran and its allies including Hezbollah and a guarantee that Iran will not be threatened in the future.
In such a situation, amidst America's reward announcement and the ongoing diplomatic efforts between the two countries, Iran's nuclear program remains a major issue in international politics.
