New Delhi, 23 July. The situation is becoming increasingly tense due to the demonstration of students under the banner of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the NEET UG paper leak case. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a video message to the students late on Thursday night.
In this video message, PM Modi said that more strict steps will be taken against paper leaks in the cabinet meeting to be held on July 24. He also said that paper leak is not a trivial issue and it is very painful for students and parents.
The Prime Minister said, ‘Friends, I know that paper leak is not a trivial issue. This is very painful for lakhs of students and their parents and hence many major steps have been taken in the last two and a half months since the paper leak incident. The culprits have been caught. He is lying in jail. Our most important responsibility was to ensure that not one year of the students was wasted.

He said, ‘It was very important to take immediate examinations. Using all its power, the government made arrangements to conduct the exams of 22 lakh students in the shortest possible time. Just five days ago, on the 19th, the result also came. There are also happy reports of students passing out across the country. But we are not among those who believe in satisfaction there.
PM Modi said, ‘That’s why today I had given instructions to the departments for fast track courts. Today, after working hard, the departments even gave me the draft late at night. This draft with provisions for fast track court and harsh punishment will be discussed in the cabinet tomorrow. Its final form will be given after suggestions from cabinet colleagues. The second week of Parliament is starting from Monday. Then efforts will be made to get that bill passed in the House as soon as possible.
