Amitabh Bachchan was accused of being “rude” after a young fan tried to approach him for a handshake during his 84th birthday celebration.
On Sunday, October 11, the Bollywood icon stepped out to meet fans as part of his annual birthday tradition when a couple of children attempted to get past security to approach him.
As the children tried to get closer, Amitabh’s security team quickly moved them away. Meanwhile, he continued greeting fans with folded hands before politely declining a female fan’s request to shake his hand, as seen in a viral clip circulating online.
Sporting a red kurta, he posed beside a giant garland arranged by his admirers, waving to the crowd and thanking them for their love before heading inside.
