On Friday evening, 83-year-old Amitabh Bachchan shared a post on Instagram, which included old videos of him and Nana Patekar. In these, Nana was seen talking about Amitabh Bachchan during an interview.
A video is of the auspicious time of the 1999 film ‘Kohram’. In this, Amitabh Bachchan and Nana Patekar were present on the stage. Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff also reached there. While Amitabh was talking on the phone, there was a banter between the three actors. The post also included a video of the meeting of Amitabh and Nana in 2024, when Nana Patekar had reached the show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Big B wrote an emotional message
Amitabh Bachchan expressed grief remembering Nana Patekar in his blog. He told that both of them often kept in touch with each other through messages. Big B wrote, ‘Shocked! Every other day we used to talk on message, but today his message did not come. Earlier, Amitabh had also praised Nana Patekar’s work, his honesty and dedication towards social service on the stage of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Recalling the moments spent together over the years, Amitabh Bachchan also spoke from the heart about Nana Patekar’s very good social work during his memorable presence in Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16.
How did you die?
Nana Patekar died on October 8 at the age of 75 at his home in Goa. Doctors tried to save him, but could not succeed. The Prime Minister, the President and many personalities from the film world expressed grief over his death.
