Amrit Bharat Express Train : 2 new Amrit Bharat Express for Maharashtra; Will run from Mumbai- Pune

Amrit Bharat Express Train | There is a big happy news for the railway passengers of Maharashtra. Indian Railways has announced two new Amrit Bharat Express trains for Maharashtra. This new service will strengthen direct rail connectivity to important cities of North India including Mumbai, Pune, Jalgaon, Bhusawal. Especially, this is considered a big relief for devotees going to religious places like Ayodhya and Varanasi.

According to the Railway Administration, these two trains will run on Varanasi-Hadapsar (Pune) and Ayodhya Cantt-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) routes. Hence, travel between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra will become more convenient, faster and cost-effective.

Varanasi to Pune Amrit Bharat Express

Considering the increasing demand of passengers, new Amrit Bharat Express has been started between Varanasi and Hadapsar. The first journey of this train will be on 28 April 2026 from Varanasi. Train No. 02531 will depart from Varanasi at 4:45 PM. It will reach Bhusawal at 3:00 PM and Jalgaon at 3:35 PM on the next day. It will then arrive at Hadapsar (Pune) at 12:55 PM.

The train halts at Gianpur Road, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, Orai, Jhansi, Bina, Rani Kamalapati, Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahilyanagar and Daund stations. This train will have total 22 coaches. It consists of 8 sleeper class, 11 general coaches, 2 SLR coaches and 1 pantry car. Amrit Bharat Express Train

Ayodhya to Mumbai Amrit Bharat Express

A new Amrit Bharat Express has also been launched between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai and Ayodhya Cantt. This train will be inaugurated on 28 April 2026 from Ayodhya Cantt station. This service will be very useful for the devotees going to Ayodhya for darshan of Lord Sri Rama. Train No. 02212 will depart from Ayodhya Cantt at 4:45 PM. The next day will reach Bhusawal at 12:35 PM and Jalgaon at 1:15 PM. It will then arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai at 9:05 PM.

The train will stop at Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Manikpur, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Nashik Road, Kalyan and Thane. This train will also have 22 coaches. It consists of 8 sleeper class, 11 general class, 2 SLR coaches and 1 pantry car. Amrit Bharat Express Train
