He started by greeting the people of Kanpur and danced on the song 'Nagada Sang Dhol Baje'. Initially, there was enthusiasm among the audience, but after some time Anjali expressed her displeasure regarding the crowd and security arrangements.
During the presentation, Anjali pointed towards the audience and said that the crowd was not being taken care of properly. He also said that someone in the crowd was hurt. Anjali raised questions regarding security and arrangements at the venue. He said that the safety of the people attending the program should have been taken care of.
The presentation stopped as soon as 'Kachha Badam' was played.

He demanded on the mic to call the organizers on the stage. Anjali questioned whether the organizers did not know how to respect the artist and expressed her disagreement with the arrangements there.
He apologized to the audience and said that people had been waiting for hours in the heat, hence better arrangements should have been made in the programme. He also said that no artist will come to Kanpur amid such arrangements.
