Ankit Balyan murder case: Awadhesh Prasad raised questions on encounter, Jayant Chaudhary met the family

Shamli News: After the murder of Haryanvi singer and actor Ankit Balyan, political turmoil has intensified in Shamli. RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary met Ankit's family and expressed condolences, while SP MP Awadhesh Prasad has demanded a high-level investigation into the encounter of the murder accused.

Tezzbuzz Desk- Reactions of political leaders are coming to light after the murder of Haryanvi singer and actor Ankit Balyan in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief and Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary reached Ankit's native village Bantikheda and met his family. He expressed grief by talking to Ankit's father Satyaveer Singh, mother and wife and assured all possible support to the family.

SP MP Awadhesh Prasad has raised questions regarding the encounter of the two main shooters in the Ankit Baliyan murder case. He said that the circumstances under which the encounter took place should be investigated. Awadhesh Prasad demanded a high-level investigation into the entire matter and said that the judiciary has the right to give punishment in major crimes.

Ankit Balyan's sister Reena said after the encounter that the family is satisfied, but they will get complete satisfaction only when all the accused involved in the murder of her brother are punished.

Reena told that her parents are elderly and Ankit was the main earning member of the family. He demanded the government to provide a job to a family member. He also appealed to build a memorial in Ankit's memory. He suggested that a stadium be built in his brother's name and his statue be installed there.

Sanjay Nishad defended the government's policy

On the encounter of Ankit Baliyan's killers, UP government minister Sanjay Nishad cited the government's zero tolerance policy. He said that investigation of crime takes time, but the priority of the government is to provide quick justice to the victims. He alleged that some people are doing politics in such matters.

At the same time, UP Congress President Ajay Rai raised questions on the law and order of the state regarding the murder of Ankit Balyan. He said that a talented singer was murdered and the law and order situation in the state was worrying.

Ajay Rai alleged that despite continuous encounters, incidents of crime are not stopping. He said that the government is patting itself on the back through encounters, while failing to effectively curb the criminals.
