Anti-gambling drive in Banaskantha: 12 gamblers seize millions in cash

Raids were conducted in four different police station areas as part of the police operation against illegal liquor and gambling activities in Banaskantha district. In which, a total of 12 people were arrested for gambling on Harjit from Ganjipan and gambling on Worli Matka. The police seized cash and mobiles worth a total of ₹1,09,310 from him.

The action was taken by the teams of Garhvi. In these four operations, the police seized a total of ₹ 45,110 in cash and 7 mobiles, worth ₹ 64,200, totaling ₹ 1,09,310. Four separate cases have been registered under the Gambling Act in Panthawada, Disa North, Dantiwada and Disa South police stations in the entire matter.

Bapla: 2 Shakuni caught

Naranbhai Patel and Ranguji Thakor were caught gambling with Ganjipana in an open place in the farm of Hardabhai Poonmabhai Patel at Bapla village. ₹14,200 in cash and two mobiles were found from him and ₹34,200 worth of cash was seized. A crime has been registered in the Panthawada police station in this matter.

4 caught playing jugtu in Disa

Nareshbhai Thakor, Pankajkumar Thakor, Maheshbhai Majirana and Umedbhai Majirana were caught gambling from Ganjipana on the public road near Bhatiani Mata Temple in Disa Wadi Road Tekra area. ₹13,360 in cash and two mobile phones were recovered from them and a total of ₹31,360 worth of items were seized.

4 gamblers arrested from Big Bhakhar

Kanuji Nakatar, Rameshji Bhakodara, Bharatji Khadosania, Nagji Bhadiatar and Bakaji Thakor were caught gambling from Ganjipana on the road from Moti Bhakhar to Dangia on the outskirts of Moti Bhakhar village. ₹15,550 in cash and two mobile phones were recovered from him and a total of ₹35,550 was confiscated.

Disa caught gambling with mobile

Natwarlal Thakkar was caught playing Worli Matka number-difference gambling on a mobile phone on a public road near Disani Ratnakar Society. ₹2,000 in cash and a mobile phone were recovered from them and a total of ₹13,200 worth of valuables were seized.
