Anu Kapoor asked a big question to the makers of ‘Ramayana’, ‘Why only Sai Pallavi for the role of Sita?’

In the film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi Mata Sita and Yash Ravana. However, now actor Anu Kapoor has given his reaction regarding the casting of the film.

Opinion expressed on casting of Sai Pallavi

Recently, during an interview, Anu Kapoor raised questions on the selection of Sai Pallavi for the role of Mother Sita in ‘Ramayana’. He said that he is not able to understand the thinking behind this decision.

Anu Kapoor said that millions of people look at Lord Ram and Mother Sita with faith and reverence, hence the selection of actors for such characters should be done very carefully.

Said- People will decide after the film comes out

Anu Kapoor said that the technology and grandeur of the film has its place, but the most important thing is on what basis the actors have been selected for the characters. He said that the audience will form their opinion on the film only after its release.

Statement given regarding Nitesh Tiwari also

When Anu Kapoor was asked if he had any objection to the casting of the film, he said that he did not know director Nitish Tiwari personally.

He said that he does not watch films much and he has no idea who Nitesh Tiwari is or what his work is.

‘Ramayana’ will be released on Diwali 2026

Let us tell you that the first part of Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ will be released in Diwali 2026. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, many big actors will be seen in important roles in the film.

The film also stars Sunny Deol Hanuman, Ravi Dubey Laxman, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Indira Krishnan and Kunal Kapoor.
