Meerut, 4 November. Candidates will get new format answer sheets in the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board for the year 2027. To strengthen the identification and security system of answer sheets, the Secondary Education Council has made changes in their format. Now instead of separate covers, there will be one main cover on the copies, on which the QR code will be printed. On scanning it, the logo of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council will be visible.
The new system aims to make the process of identification, monitoring and distribution of answer sheets more systematic. This time around 1.21 lakh students are likely to appear in the examination in Meerut district. Keeping this in view, the education department has started preparations.
Different colors of high school and intermediate copies
The board has also set different colors for the A and B answer sheets of both classes. The A copy of the high school will be dark orange and the B copy will be dark blue. At the same time, the A copy of the intermediate has been determined as purple and the B copy has been determined as green. All answer sheets will have the same main cover and QR code. Having different colors will facilitate identification and distribution of copies.
Answer sheets will be kept under CCTV surveillance
For the safety of the answer sheets, they will be kept in a secure room monitored by CCTV cameras 24 hours a day. A record of the serial numbers of the bundles of copies will be entered in the register. With this, the process of their storage, distribution and transportation to the examination centers can be monitored. In the new system of the board, special attention has been paid to the physical security of answer sheets along with technical identification.
