Technology Desk: Apple has started releasing the first Developer Beta of its new software update iOS 27.3. In this update, users are going to get many new AI features. The company has also released developer beta updates of iPadOS 27.3, macOS 27.3, watchOS 27.3, tvOS 27.3, and visionOS 27.3.
Many changes related to Apple Intelligence will be seen in the new update. These include AI-based Siri, Audio Intelligence tools for Apple Watch and a newly designed Health App. Apart from this, Apple has also started the preview of Siri AI Integration for developers. This will make it easier for users to do many things on their devices in the future.
You can do many things just by speaking with Siri AI
With iOS 27.3, Apple began allowing developers to connect their apps to Siri AI through App Intents. With its help, users will be able to work on different apps by speaking in normal language.
For example, a user can ask Siri for the status of a delivery. Apart from this, tasks like booking tables in restaurants and placing online orders can also be done by speaking.
The new system will be able to understand the personal context of the user. Along with this, there will be ability to understand the information visible on the screen and the instructions given in normal language.
Developers will also be able to create new features with the help of which Siri will be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. These features are also being brought to Apple's apps like Calendar, Files, Finder, Mail, Maps, Messages, Music, Notes, Photos, Safari and Weather.
New AI features will be available in Apple Watch
Special features are also being provided for Apple Watch in Apple's new beta update. Audio Intelligence features for Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 have been included in iOS 27.3 and watchOS 27.3 beta.
According to Bloomberg's report, features like Siri Recap and Live Rewind are also going to be included in it.
With the help of Siri Recap, important issues of a chat can be seen in bullet points. With this, the user will not need to read the entire conversation again.
At the same time, with the help of Live Rewind feature, the user will be able to see the transcription of the last 15 seconds of a chat. This will make it easier to understand the important information of the conversation.
Health App comes with new design
Apple has also changed the design of its Health App in iOS 27.3. Two new sections named Insights and Longevity have been added to it.
In the Insights section, users will get information like heart rate, vital signs and step count. With this they will be able to keep an eye on their daily health related activities.
At the same time, in the Longevity section, information related to heart health, hearing ability, movement, metabolic and mental health will be visible. The purpose of the new design is to provide users with information related to their health at one place.
When will the final update of iOS 27.3 be available?
Currently, Apple has released its other software updates including iOS 27.3 as Developer Beta. This means that right now this update is mainly available for app developers.
It is being told that the full rollout of these updates can happen in December. However, some features of Siri AI and Audio Intelligence will not be available on all devices.
