Archana Gautam recently narrated an interesting story of her initial days of struggle in Rajeev Khandelwal’s show ‘Tum Ho Naa’. He told that getting work in the industry is not as easy in reality as it appears from outside.

He said, ‘Many people think that it is very easy to work in the industry and one gets the job from one day. In fact, my truth is that half of the people don’t even know what work I have done. CID was my third serial. I had to play the role of a corpse in it and I was getting Rs 3000 per day for it.

Senior artists used to watch with open eyes

Archana further told that during the shooting, many times senior actors used to come to her and look at her with her eyes open because she was playing the character of a corpse, hence she did not have to move.

The actress further said, ‘In the episodes of CID, I had to lie down with my eyes closed and holding my breath. During this period, sometimes one had to lie on the ground and sometimes on a stretcher, like a lifeless body or a corpse. During this time seniors would come and look at my eyes. Now brother, I am not used to being dead. Have seen this for so long. Now I think that I have done very small roles in many TV serials.
