Arjun Tendulkar: Arjun Tendulkar won lottery in IPL, salary increased by 400%

Arjun Tendulkar new t20 deal: Arjun Tendulkar has got a big benefit during IPL 2026. Arjun has won the lottery in the T20 Mumbai League auction. Arjun is a part of the Lucknow Super Giants squad this season. He has not got a chance in the playing-11 yet, but Arjun has got a big deal in the local league, which has caught everyone’s attention.

In the auction held on May 2, Arjun Tendulkar was bought by ARCS Andheri for Rs 10 lakh. The special thing was that his base price was only Rs 2 lakh. In this way, his price increased by 400%, which is considered a huge jump in terms of this league.

If we compare with IPL, Arjun is currently a part of Lucknow Super Giants, where he gets Rs 30 lakh. That means this deal of Mumbai League is almost one-third (33.3%) of his IPL contract.

Earlier there were some rules hurdles regarding Arjun playing in this league. He plays for Goa in domestic cricket, hence the ‘cooling off’ rule applies for playing in another state’s league. However, BCCI and Mumbai Cricket Association gave him exemption in this matter. The reason was that Arjun had not participated in any other state’s T20 league in the last 12 months.
