New Delhi, 12 September 2026: Foreign Minister of Belarus Maxim Rizhenkov has arrived in New Delhi today. He has come here to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit. Relations between India and Belarus are close and friendly. Cooperation between the two countries is continuously increasing at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has also arrived in New Delhi to participate in this summit. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohole welcomed him at the airport. There is an 'Advanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership' between India and Vietnam. There is growing cooperation between the two countries in defense and security, fintech, critical minerals and other emerging sectors. The Foreign Ministry has said that both the countries are also working together in the field of multilateral cooperation.
This morning, the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had also come to New Delhi to participate in this conference. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that his visit underlines the importance of global health cooperation for international progress and prosperity.
