Stock market rose in early trading, Sensex and Nifty rose
New Delhi. Like the markets around the world, there is enthusiasm in the domestic stock market today as US President Donald Trump has hinted at resuming talks with Iran to end the crisis in West Asia.
Today’s business also started on a strong note. However, after the market opened, there was a slight decline in the movements of both the Sensex and Nifty indices due to profit booking.
Despite this, the market continued to trade with strong strength. After the first one hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a gain of 1.71 percent and Nifty with a gain of 1.67 percent.
After the initial one hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of InterGlobe Aviation, HDFC Life, Max Healthcare, Larsen & Toubro and TCS were trading with a gain of 4.60 percent to 3.07 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, ONGC, Coal India and ICICI Bank were seen trading with a fall of 1.38 per cent to 0.21 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,829 shares in the stock market. Of these, 2,639 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 190 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 29 shares remained in the green with the support of buying.
On the other hand, only one stock was trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 46 shares were seen trading in green mark and four shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 77,981.10 points with a gain of 1,133.53 points. As soon as trading started, this index jumped to the level of 78,270.42 points. After this, due to profit booking in the market, the movement of Sensex also declined. Under selling pressure, this index slipped to the level of 77,849.52 points.
After this, buyers once again exerted buying pressure, due to which the speed of the index started increasing again. After the first one hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at 78,161.19 points with a gain of 1,313.62 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty jumped 321.15 points today and started trading at 24,163.80. As soon as the market opened, this index jumped more than 115 points from the opening level and reached 24,280.90 points. After this, when profit booking started, Nifty fell to the level of 24,145.80 points.
After this, buyers once again made buying efforts, due to which the index started rising again. After the initial one-hour trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 24,240.30 points with a gain of 397.65 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 76,847.57 points with a weakness of 702.68 points or 0.91 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Monday’s trading at the level of 23,842.65 points with a decline of 207.95 points or 0.86 percent.
