93.70% students successful in CBSE 10th result, girls again ahead

New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of class 10th this year. A total of 93.70 percent students have been successful in 22 regions across the country. This time also the girls have performed better and left the boys behind.

According to the result data, the pass percentage of girl students was 94.99%, while that of boys was recorded at 92.69%. It is clear from this that girls are continuously performing better in the field of education.

In region wise performance, Trivandrum and Vijayawada jointly stood first with 99.79%. After this, Chennai (99.58%), Bengaluru (98.91%) and Delhi West (97.45%) were included in the top-5.

Talking about Delhi-NCR region, Delhi West (97.45%) and Delhi East (97.33%) performed well, while Gurugram (93.21%) and Noida (87.66%) lagged behind.

Other major regions of North India recorded the best performance of Lucknow (91.63%), Dehradun (91.59%), Prayagraj (89.45%) and Panchkula (92.24%).

The result of Noida region has fallen this time. The pass percentage here was 87.66%, which is 3.09% less than last year’s 90.75%.

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) topped the performance of schools with 99.57%. This was followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (99.42%), Central Tibetan School (97.42%), private school (93.77%), government school (91.43%) and government aided school (91.01%).
