Cairo: Commander of Iran’s Joint Military Command Ali Abdullahi has given a strict warning to America. He said that if the US does not immediately lift the blockade imposed on Iranian ports, Iran will completely stop all exports and imports in the Persian Gulf, Oman Sea and Red Sea. Iran’s government media has given this news.
‘Blockade is a violation of ceasefire’
Commander Abdullahi said that Iran is completely determined to protect its national sovereignty and interests. He described the American blockade as a violation of the ceasefire. He stressed that Iran’s powerful armed forces will not allow any exports or imports to continue in the region. This warning has come at a time when there is talk of a ceasefire between America and Iran. The commander said that this action of America is a step towards breaking the peace agreement. Iran will not tolerate this.
Iran had closed the Strait of Hormuz
Tehran effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz when Israel and the US launched attacks on Iran. The Strait of Hormuz is a very important sea route in the world. Iran has shown its strength by shutting it down. On Monday, America started a blockade around Iranian ports. The US Navy is now stopping ships traveling to and from Iran.
