East Champaran. There was a stir in the Piprakothi police station area of the district on Wednesday when a woman climbed a mobile tower amid the scorching heat. Within no time a huge crowd of people gathered at the spot and the atmosphere became tense.
According to the information, the woman had taken this step in protest against the arrest of her brother-in-law in the liquor scandal, while family dispute is also being said to be the main reason behind this incident. It is said that there was a dispute between the woman and her family over some issue in the morning.
After this she reached the police station and complained. The police took immediate action in the case and started the process of arresting the accused and sending him to judicial custody.
Meanwhile, the woman suddenly climbed the mobile tower, causing panic in the administration. As soon as the information was received, many officers including SDPO Jitesh Pandey, Police Station Head Brajesh Kumar Singh, BDO Mohini Kashyap reached the spot. The woman’s family members were also present there and kept trying to convince her.
The police tried to control the situation by maintaining dialogue patiently. After this high voltage drama that lasted for about two hours, after a lot of persuasion, the woman agreed to get down.
As soon as she came down, she fell unconscious due to extreme heat, stress and fatigue. After this, the police showed promptness and sent him to Sadar Hospital, Motihari for treatment, where his treatment is going on.
According to the police, the arrested accused has been sent to judicial custody. At the same time, legal action is also being taken in case a woman takes such a dangerous step.
