Inauguration of Madhya Pradesh Domestic and International Arbitration Center in Indore Bench of High Court.

Indore. Madhya Pradesh Domestic and International Arbitration Center was inaugurated by Chief Justice of the state Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva on Thursday in the premises of Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

On this occasion, Justice Vivek Rusia, Administrative Justice of Jabalpur High Court, Justice Vijay Kumar Shukla, Administrative Justice of Indore High Court were specially present.

In the inauguration program, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva said that arbitration is his favorite subject and it is an effective and modern medium to resolve domestic and international business matters.

He mentioned that Indore is a very prosperous city from commercial point of view, where many reputed business institutions and industrial units are functioning. In such a situation, this Arbitration Center has the potential to establish Indore as a major arbitration hub in future.

Justice Sachdeva said that at present this center is being started with a hall, director’s chamber and office room, but in future its infrastructure, technical resources and human resources (man power) will be strengthened and expanded respectively, so that this center can develop in a more organized, efficient and effective form.

Addressing the program, Justice Vijay Kumar Shukla said that the first arbitration center of the state was started in Jabalpur and now the opening of the second arbitration center in Indore is a big step towards modernization of the judicial system.

The need of the hour is to establish such a state-of-the-art Arbitration Center, which will play an important role in quick and expert resolution of disputes and will give the state a new identity at the national and international level.

Justice Vivek Rusia, Subodh Abhyankar, Prannoy Verma, Sandeep N attended the inauguration programme. Bhatt, Vinay Saraf, Binod Kumar Dwivedi, Gajendra Singh, Pawan Kumar Dwivedi, Alok Awasthi, former Justice I S Srivastava, Assistant Solicitor General Sunil Jain, Additional Advocate General Sonal Gupta.

Arbitrators, Principal Registrar Anoop Kumar Tripathi, Officer on Special Duty Neeraj Malviya, High Court Advocates Association President Manish Yadav, Secretary Manish Gadkar, Additional Advocate General, senior advocates.

Members of the State Advocate Council, officials and advocates of the High Court Advocates Association, officials of the Public Works Department, officials and employees of the High Court were present in large numbers.
