Protest of Vishwakarma Samaj on Ghazipur incident, demand for arrest of accused and help.

Shahjahanpur. In protest against the rape and murder of Neeshu Vishwakarma, daughter of Siyaram Vishwakarma, resident of village Kataria, Karanda police station, Ghazipur on April 14/15, under the aegis of Vishwakarma Ekikaran Abhiyan, a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was given to Additional Magistrate Apoorva Singh in the absence of the District Magistrate, demanding the arrest of the accused named in this incident, security to the victim’s family and financial assistance of Rs. 50 lakhs.

It has been said in the memorandum that Ashutosh Singh, son of the village head, is the mastermind of this incident who keeps pressure on the victim’s family and objects to the meeting of people from Vishwakarma community and instigates the villagers to riot.

The report of this incident could be registered after four days after huge public pressure and one accused was arrested and one is absconding. Recently, a delegation of Vishwakarma Samaj, which had gone to meet the victim’s family, was attacked by Ashutosh Singh by instigating the villagers, in which many people including the police station incharge were injured.

Vishwakarma Samaj has demanded registration of FIR against Ashutosh Singh. Apart from this, at the local level also, a letter was handed over to the District Magistrate regarding the police administration not resolving the problems of the victim families of Vishwakarma Samaj.

In which it is said that Gajendra, son of Ramnath of village Parsauna Khalilpur police station Nigohi, was taken away by three people of the village on 27/4/2024 who has not returned till date.

Whose missing person is registered in Nigohi police station on 23/5/2024. Police is not taking any action in this matter. Gajendra’s elderly mother Shanti Devi and father Ramnath are knocking at the doors of the authorities.

Apart from this, a case of village Babakkarpur of police station Sehramau South was also brought to the notice of the District Magistrate in which no action is being taken against the illegal encroacher of land belonging to the village society worth Rs 18 lakh, despite the report of the Regional Accountant and Revenue Inspector.

Whereas Shobhit Kumar Sharma and his brothers of Vishwakarma Samaj, who complained about illegal occupation of village community land by Pati Ram Jatav, are being implicated in false cases of Harijan oppression.

Citing all the earlier complaints and evidence made by the victim’s families, a fair investigation and action has been demanded.

Among those who gave the memorandum, state in-charge of Vishwakarma Integration Campaign, Naresh Panchal, including Mahesh Yogi, Yashwant Maithil, Srinivas Sharma, Veeresh Sharma, Nixon Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, Ramesh Chandra Sharma, Lokesh Sharma, Sandeep Sharma.

Many people including Rakesh Sharma, Munesh Kumar Sharma, Vivek Sharma, Pawan Sharma, Piyush Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Anuj Sharma, Shobhit Sharma, Vivek Aastik, Mukesh Rathore, Mahendra Pal, Rajkumar Prajapati were present.
