IPL: Fast bowler Lungi Ngidi’s first reaction after his injury, said – everything is fine

New Delhi. The first reaction of Delhi Capitals fast bowler Lungi Ngidi, who was seriously injured while trying to take a catch in the match against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has come to light. Ngidi posted a story on his Instagram on Sunday. In this he wrote, thanks for the messages, everything is fine.

Ngidi suffered the injury in the match against Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday. He fell backwards while trying to catch the catch of Punjab batsman Priyansh Arya and his head hit the ground hard. He immediately lay down on the ground holding his head and after this the medical staff immediately reached the field. During this period the match was stopped for some time. Ngidi was later taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution.

In the press conference after the match, Delhi Capitals Cricket Director Venugopal Rao had said that I think the injury is not serious. We will keep giving updates, but the situation is not very worrying.

Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals, batting first, scored a huge score of 264 runs for 2 wickets in 20 overs with the help of opener KL Rahul’s record breaking unbeaten 152 runs and Nitish Rana’s 91 runs. In reply, Punjab Kings achieved the record target of 265 runs with seven balls remaining on the basis of opener Prabhsimran Singh’s 76 runs, Priyansh Arya’s 43 runs and captain Shreyas Iyer’s stormy unbeaten innings of 71 runs.

There was a very poor performance in bowling for Delhi. They missed Ngidi, who got injured while trying to take the catch. However, Delhi’s fielding was also poor in the match.
