He said that the administration, operators and passengers all have to understand their respective responsibilities. Whatever adventure activities are conducted, be it rafting, bungee jumping or paragliding, regular and strict checking of them should be made mandatory. Clear and high level safety standards should be set for every activity and their strict adherence should be ensured.
The quality of equipment, availability of trained staff and emergency arrangements should be reviewed from time to time. The monitoring of licensing and operations should also be strengthened by the administration, so that there is no negligence of any kind and such tragic accidents can be effectively prevented.
