Two criminals absconding with a reward of Rs 50,000 each arrested in Manish murder case

Varanasi. Before the arrival of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Varanasi, two criminals Manish Rajbhar and Ashish Rajbhar, who were absconding in the Manish Singh murder case of Phulpur police station area carrying a reward of Rs 50 thousand each, were arrested by the police and SOG team after an encounter.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Gomti Zone Neetu Kadyan said that on Monday night, a joint police team of Phulpur police station and SOG was checking in the police station area. Meanwhile, information was received that some suspicious persons were hiding in a dilapidated house located near an old closed brick kiln in village Kathirao Kharka.

On information, a joint police team of Phulpur police station and SOG raided the spot. Seeing the police team coming towards them, the accused started firing. Both the accused were shot in the legs when the police retaliated in self-defense, after which they were arrested from the spot. One pistol of 315 bore and one live cartridge each were recovered from the possession of the accused.

The arrested accused have been identified as Ashish Rajbhar, the accused wanted in the Manish murder case, and Manish Rajbhar, resident of village Ghamhapur, police station Phulpur, district Varanasi. A reward of Rs 50-50 thousand has been declared on both of them.

He said that the accused injured in the police encounter were sent to the hospital for treatment and necessary legal action is being taken. Manoj Prajapati, Harishchandra Rajbhar, Yogendra Prajapati and Abhishek alias Buddhu have already been arrested in the Manish murder case.
