Shiksha Mitras should abandon ‘trade union style’; yogi

He also asked Shiksha Mitras to abandon the trade union style. CM Yogi said, ‘An attempt was made to advance your demands for many years through confrontation. Instead, we should move towards any solution through dialogue.
Honorarium increased for para-teachers
Let us tell you that the function organized in the honor of Shiksha Mitras in Gorakhpur was on the occasion of increasing the honorarium of 1.43 lakh Shiksha Mitras working in the primary schools run by the Basic Education Department of the state from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 18 thousand. During this, CM Yogi criticized the previous governments. He said, ‘Previous governments violated the rules and tried to give them recognition without making necessary rules. Due to such arbitrary actions, the Supreme Court ordered termination of his services.

In this sequence, CM Yogi Adityanath further said, ‘Because of this we had to face a serious challenge. Due to this, about 1.5 lakh families were in danger of losing their livelihood. Where would he go in such a situation? For this reason, our government decided not to terminate his service and also increased his honorarium. He further said, ‘In the year 2017, we increased the honorarium of Shiksha Mitras from Rs 3,500 to Rs 10,000.’
