There will be heavy rain again in Delhi-NCR today
Delhi: After the recent rains in many states of the country, the temperature has started rising again. The temperature reached beyond 45 in Barmer district of Rajasthan. At the same time, people of Delhi-NCR have got some respite from the heat. The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi on Sunday was 37.9 degrees Celsius, which is 1.4 degrees below the seasonal average.
There will be rain with strong winds in Delhi
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Delhi was 26.2 degrees Celsius, which was 1.1 degrees above the seasonal average. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain and strong winds for Monday in Delhi-NCR. During this period, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 39 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
Record heat in Barmer, Rajasthan
The weather remained mostly dry in Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. According to the department, heat wave-like conditions were recorded at some places in the state. The weather department said that the highest temperature in Barmer was 45.
It was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature in Fatehpur in Sikar district was 20.9 degrees Celsius.
Heavy rain in Uttarakhand
At the same time, the weather in Uttarakhand is very bad. Heavy rain and thunderstorm was recorded in Uttarkashi on Sunday afternoon, creating slippery conditions on the Yamunotri Yatra route. According to officials, the devotees are continuing their journey even in these adverse conditions.
