RCB beats Mumbai Indians by 2 wickets
IPL: The 54th league match of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League was played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur between the teams of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians, which RCB managed to win by 2 wickets. In this match, RCB team captain Rajat Patidar had decided to bowl first after winning the toss.
Batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai Indians scored 166 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Mumbai had a very bad start in this match in which they lost three important wickets till the score of 28, after which Tilak Verma and Naman Dheer tried to get the team out of this difficult situation by making a partnership of 82 runs for the fourth wicket. Naman Dheer returned to the pavilion after scoring 47 runs in this match, while Tilak Verma managed to play an inning of 57 runs. When RCB came out to chase the target, they did not have a good start in which they lost three wickets till the score of 39, after which Krunal Pandya and Jacob Bethel took charge of the innings and brought them back into the contest by making a partnership of 55 runs for the fourth wicket. In this match, Bethel was out after playing an inning of 27 runs, while Krunal Pandya had an excellent inning of 73 runs with the bat. In bowling for Mumbai Indians, Corbin Bosch took four wickets while Deepak Chahar took 2 wickets, apart from this Ghazanfar and Bawa managed to take 1-1 wicket.
