‘The Narmada Story’ inspired by true events will be released on June 12
‘The Narmada Story’ is in the news these days for its unique promotional campaign. A mysterious news related to Narmadapuram in Madhya Pradesh created a stir on social media, in which it was claimed that Police Inspector Purushottam Bhadauria has suddenly gone missing after leaving home in connection with an important case.
The viral screenshots include CCTV footage, breaking news graphics and ‘Where is Purushottam Bhadauria?’ Questions like these created both fear and curiosity among people. Within no time this news went viral on social media.
However, after some time it became clear that this entire incident was part of the promotion of the film ‘The Narmada Story’. The film team adopted this high-voltage strategy to create thrill and curiosity among the audience.
It is being told that the film is based on a story full of mystery, crime and emotional conflict, in which many shocking secrets hidden behind the sudden disappearance of a police officer come to light.
Real IPS officer Simala Prasad will be seen in the lead role in the film. Along with him, actors like Raghuveer Yadav, Mukesh Tiwari, Anjali Patil, Ashwini Kalsekar and Zarina Wahab will also be seen in important roles.
Simala Prasad, currently working on the post of DIG Women Security in Bhopal Police Headquarters, is counted among the best police officers of the country. The trailer of the film will be released soon, while the film will hit the theaters on June 12, 2026.
