Haridwar.Verification campaign of public service centers being run on the instructions of Dhami government is being conducted. Under this, the police has sealed a public service center making fake documents in Piran Kaliyar and arrested its operator.
SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar said that during the verification process of a public service center under Kotwali Piran Kaliar area, the director of the said public service center, Shahnawaz Alam, son of Pyare, resident of Daudpur Sahebganj, Muzaffarpur Bihar, hall address Alishan Hotel, Kaliar Haridwar, was found to be making fake Aadhaar card and birth certificate documents by fraudulent means.
Police recovered six fake Aadhaar cards, one fake birth certificate, seven fake stamps and computer equipment from its possession.
He told that Shahnawaz had been making fake certificates for a long time. During investigation, till now it has been said to have issued more than 01 thousand fake birth certificates and Aadhaar cards.
The accused operator has been arrested and sent to jail after presenting him in court. SSP said that people for whom Aadhaar cards have been made are also being included in the scope of investigation.
