Lucknow . A heart-wrenching murder case has come to light in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. There was a stir in the entire area after the body of an unidentified girl, chopped into six pieces, was found in the sleeper bogie of Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express. The dead body was left in the train by filling it in boxes and bags in a very vicious manner.

When the train reached Gomtinagar railway station on Sunday morning, the railway police got information about unclaimed boxes and bags lying in sleeper coach S-1. When the box was opened during investigation, the decapitated torso of the girl was found in it. Hands and feet packed in polythene were recovered from a bag kept nearby. However, the head of the dead body has not been found yet. Seeing this horrifying scene, passengers and railway employees were shocked.

As soon as the information was received, GRP, Railway Police and forensic team reached the spot. In the initial investigation, it is suspected that the body may have been cut with a sharp weapon or an electronic cutter. The killers had packed the body in such a way that not even traces of blood were visible outside.

According to the police, the age of the deceased seems to be between 25 to 30 years. A colorful suit was found on the dead body, due to which it is being speculated that the girl may be from a rural area. At present he has not been identified. According to railway officials, Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express passes through about 20 stations. In such a situation, the police is now scanning the CCTV footage of the entire route of the train, so that it can be found out from which station the box and bag were boarded in the train.

ACP Railway Rohit Mishra said that three teams have been formed to investigate the matter. Details of passengers traveling on reserved tickets are being collected, while identifying those traveling on general tickets remains a challenge for the investigating agencies. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the police is investigating the case from every aspect.
