Heavy rain is going to occur in these parts of the country

Delhi: It is scorching heat in different parts of the country including North India. The temperature in the national capital Delhi is crossing 45 degrees. A temperature of 48 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Banda district of UP. Severe heat wave is going on in many districts of Delhi-NCR and Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of rain with winds reaching speeds of up to 50 kmph in many parts of the country.

Rain forecast in many states
IMD has predicted rain in many states including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department said that there will be rain with strong winds in West Bengal from Thursday to Saturday (May 21-23).

It will rain in Jharkhand for 4 days
There is a possibility of rain in many districts of Bihar during May 20-26. Rain is expected in Jharkhand between 21-26 May. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Odisha during May 22-24.

There will be heavy rain in hilly states
Rain has been predicted in north-western India. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain with strong winds in the hilly states. During May 21-23, there is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds (speed of 40-50 km per hour) at some places in Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

Rain forecast in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and also in Kerala
Heavy rain alert has been issued in many states of South India. IMD has predicted rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Mahe and Karaikal during May 21 to 24. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (speed 40-50 kmph) in Telangana.
