From today, the cost of commercial gas cylinder and 5 kg smaller cylinder becomes expensive, export duty reduced on petrol, diesel and ATF.
New Delhi. After petrol and diesel, 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has become costlier from today. Its price has been increased by Rs 42 in Delhi. Its price in the national capital Delhi has increased to Rs 3113.50. Its price in Kolkata has reached Rs 3255.50. With this, the price of small FTL cylinder weighing five kilograms has been increased by Rs 11. The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has not been changed. The rate of increase in the price of commercial cylinders has come into effect from today.
The big matter of relief is that the Central Government has announced to reduce export duty on petrol, diesel and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) from today. According to gas provider companies, a small five kilogram cylinder will now be available for Rs 821.50 in the national capital Delhi. The price of commercial cylinder in Kolkata has increased by Rs 53.50. Due to this, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder there has increased to Rs 3255.50.
The Center has announced to reduce its export duty on petrol, diesel and ATF from June 1. The government has halved the windfall gain tax on petrol exports to Rs 1.50 per litre. Tax on diesel has been reduced to Rs 13.50 per liter and tax on ATF has been reduced to Rs 9.50 per liter. According to the Finance Ministry, Road and Infrastructure Cess on export of petrol and diesel will be zero. Also, there has been no change in the existing tax on petrol and diesel for domestic use.
