In this, whichever team wins the World Cup trophy will get 50 million US dollars i.e. a total of Rs 476 crore. The runner up team will also win prize money of 33 million US dollars i.e. a total of Rs 314 crore. The teams participating in this tournament will be given prize money by FIFA to play, in which the team ranked 48th will also take home Rs 86 crore.
All qualifying teams will get $10 million for qualification.
Apart from being given prize money according to where the teams finished in this World Cup, all the participating teams will also get 10 million US dollars from FIFA for qualification. In such a situation, if we look at the total pool of these rupees, approximately Rs 8299 crore will be spent. Apart from the winner and runner-up, the team finishing third will be given Rs 276 crore, while the team finishing fourth will be given Rs 257 crore from FIFA. Each team ranked 5th to 8th will get Rs 181 crore. Whereas the teams finishing from 9th to 16th position will get Rs 143 crore, while the teams finishing from 17th to 32nd position will get Rs 105 crore. After this, each team ranked from 33rd to the last position i.e. 48th will be given Rs 86 crore by FIFA.
